I realize it probably wouldn't have been as entertaining of a read had it gone into deeper detail with the nuts and bolts. The book is well-written and an easy read. Overall a good book and not a bad place to start if you are wondering if running a business is for you. The authors provide a good overview and many tips, warnings and advice about starting and running your own business as a woman. I would have liked to have seen more specific information--The things they brought up are things I already know need to be done but I was looking for the HOW. IF you already know you want to start the business and are looking for a guide on how exactly to do it, then I'd look elsewhere. If you know of such a resource I would love the suggestion.

It never really got me anywhere. Probably will sell it at my next garage sale.

This gives a pretty good overview of what it is like to start your own business, makes it understandable, and has real life stories and interviews. I felt like a learned a lot from this book. You may need to read it multiple times to get all the information soaked into your brain.
